Bake Off fans in tears as Jade Thirlwall makes Little Mix biscuits INCLUDING Jesy Nelson after star quit band

THE Great Celebrity Bake Off fans were left in tears this evening when Jade Thirlwall made Little Mix biscuits – including former bandmate Jesy Nelson.

The 28-year-old star chose her own group as inspiration for her show-stopper in the Stand Up To Cancer special, which was filmed before Jesy sensationally quit the group in December.

She called the bake "Can't Live Without A Little Mix Concert", and it showed lemon biscuit versions of her and her bandmates on stage, surrounded by fans.

Judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith were hugely impressed by her efforts, calling it "very clever", "ingenious", and "charming".

They asked which of the biscuit bandmates was supposed to be her before snapping it in half to tuck in.

Prue cheekily said: "Paul's going to eat your head, and I'm going to eat your knickers."

To which tickled Jade giggled in response: "I'm honoured!"

Viewers at home felt emotional at the biscuits reflecting Little Mix when they were still a four piece, and took to Twitter to share their reaction.

One wrote: "Suddenly started crying when Jade says Jesy’s name hELP".

Another posted crying emojis as they penned: "The challenge was something you can't live without and Jade made the girls."

A third agreed: "This hurts especially now that Jesy has left."

One more shared broken heart emojis as they wrote: "The fact that Jade did this when Jesy was still in the band so did a cake with all 4 of them…"

A fifth viewer mused: "Who knew the last time Jesy would be on stage with Little Mix would be in biscuit form?"

The judges were so blown away by Jade's biscuit show-stopper, and previous cherry pie, that she beat the other three celebs to be crowned Star Baker.

Paul praised her as the "most consistent" contestant, with the singer up against KSI, Stacey Dooley, and Katherine Ryan.

Jesy announced on 14 December that she was leaving Little Mix due to the toll nine years in the band had taken on her mental health.

She posted a moving status to her social media page explaining her reasoning, and was supported by Jade, Perrie Edwards, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock at the time.

Jesy has since been teasing solo music by posting videos and photos from her time in the recording studio.

Jade's stint on Bake Off was filmed last autumn, meaning that the group were very much still a four-piece at her time of baking.
