A PLACE in the Sun viewers ripped into a ‘time-wasting’ couple’s demands – and had a problem with host Jean Johansson too.
Thursdays episode saw viewers introduced to Jeanette and Phil, who had a budget of £170,000 to buy a home on the Greek island of Crete.
This was despite the fact the couple had never been to the island before, but they were keen to start a new, relaxed way of life out there.
However, the couple mentioned how they needed a property big enough for their friends and family to visit, something some A Place in the Sun viewers took issue with.
Taking to Twitter, one wrote: "I don't get this thing of everyone's family coming over at the same time? F*** that."
Another added: "They want a friggin palace for all their family."

A third joked: "I have 17p to spend, but would like Villa with pool, and underbuild plus a Hotel attached for my family to stay!"
Despite Jean showing them five properties, nothings seemed quite right for the couple, and while they made a "cheeky" offer on one at the end of the show, they left empty-handed and to continue their search.
Viewers were annoyed by this too, with one writing: "Never had any intention of buying, put in a low offer so it would defo be rejected. T*** pots. Laters peeps."
Another added: "So, they could buy it for £15k under the asking price, but still refused. Complete time wasters."
