The Irwin clan were on Sky News yesterday to discuss their new series Crikey It’s The Irwins.
In the heartfelt interview, Robert Irwin opened up about carrying on the legacy of his father.
Steve Irwin was tragically killed in 2006 when a stingray barb pierced him in the heart during filming.
Robert admired his father’s passion for wildlife saying it was “a privilege” to continue his dad’s work.

He said: “We get to kind of follow in his footsteps.
“No one will ever be as incredible with wildlife as he was.”
Robert continued to discuss working at Australia Zoo with his beloved family.
The 15-year-old explained: “Growing up in a zoo, it’s incredible… it’s about putting the animals first.

“For Bindi and I, it’s always been our passion.
“This isn’t just what we do, it’s who we are.”
Steve Irwin’s daughter Bindi announced her engagement to Chandler Powell in July.
The 21-year-old is marrying her beau at Australia Zoo, where the family continue to work.

Bindi and Chandler recently opened up about their wedding, speaking to Good Morning America about their special day.
Chandler said: "We're so excited. It's where we met and where we got engaged so it only makes sense that we'd have it at Australia Zoo.
"See, I think this wedding is going to be unique because it's going to be at the zoo and with tons of animals."
Bindi agreed with her beau as she joked: "I'm not sure how many people have walked down the aisle with a koala, but we may be setting some new trends for weddings from here on out."

She continued: "The easiest part of wedding planning is just knowing that I get to marry this amazing guy.
"Whatever else happens it doesn't matter."
