Stacey Solomon fumes as Joe Swash warns her their engagement ‘can change’

Loose Women star Stacey Solomon wasn't very amused and appeared to be noticeably annoyed after fiancé Joe Swash suggested "things could change" when discussing their engagement.

The 31-year-old seemed shocked that the former Dancing on Ice star had landed the low blow, just months after he'd got down on one knee.

In the clip Stacey and Joe, 39, were clearly having some fun with each other before Joe struck up an opportunity to take a swipe.

The ITV panelist had requested for her TV beau to play Love Island with her but the game Stacey had in mind wasn't really to his likening.

Documenting the conversation Stacey told her 4.1million fans: "I just spent the last two hours trying to convince Joe to play Love Island with me but he's just being miserable."

Husband-to-be Joe, quipped back: "Listen I just don't know whether I want to couple up with you."

Before Stacey abruptly interjected, adding: "Yes you do.

"You just don’t know what to say and I'm not being funny but if you can't make up Love Island words in front of a bush, what are you going to do for our wedding vows?

With the heat turning up a few notches, Joe jokingly responds: "You can't pressurise me into being coupled up with you."

Rolling her eyes, Stacey chirped back: "We're engaged."

Before Joe replied with the brutal dig, explaining: "Yeah I know but you know, things can change."

At which point a stunned Stacey blurted "What?"

The video cuts showing the former X Factor star looking angry with raised eye brows and widened eyes while boyfriend Joe knew that he'd taken the joke too far and the fear was written all over his face.

On Christmas Eve, the long-term lovers finally took their romance to the next stage with Joe asking for Stacey's hand in marriage during a stroll in the woods.

Sharing the happy news, the emotional starlet took to her social media platform to flaunt her gigantic diamond ring after Joe got down on one knee to ask the big question.

She wrote: "He asked me to marry him and after crying for what felt like a very long time… I said yes.

"To the moon and back bub. I have no words."

Stacey has since revealed that she and Joe are planning to tie the knot at the end of summer, providing they can while following Covid guidelines.
