Rose Ayling-Ellis shares co-star’s fashion mishap before first Strictly tour gig

Rose-Ayling Ellis has joined her Strictly partner and fellow co-stars to take part in their nationwide Arena Tour – and she was happy to document it all on Instagram.

Opting for their usual glitz and glamour, the professional dancers were dressed in their usual sequins and sparkle while showing off their incredible beauty overhaul.

However, one dancer was hit with a fashion faux pas, and Rose was the first to share the details to her Instagram story.

Poor Nancy Xu, who is partnered with Rhys Stephenson, showed off her ripped trousers in an image shared to Rose Ayling-Ellis' Instagram followers.

The team were about to hit the stage when Nancy faced an awkward mishap as she stunned in her glamorous sequin jumpsuit – which ultimately showed off her undies.

A snap of Nancy saw her flash a sulking face back to the camera as she pouted with her glam makeup look – red lip and all – on full display.

Her hair was curled to sit just by her shoulders as she looked nothing short of spectacular, but she had to get a team on her immediately following the mishap.

As Rose shared the snap to her story, she wrote: "Ripped trousers before show, oops!"

In another Instagram story post shared by Rose, she reposted a clip of herself and dancer Luba Mushtuk while the pair were in their dressing gowns.

Luba was signing at Rose as the EastEnders actress was teaching her sign language, with Luba writing: "Signing session to be continued", in the snap of the duo.

Rose gave her a 10/10 for her skills as they practised before heading onto stage for the first show, with Tilly Ramsay sharing a backstage photo of the glam trio.

Fans will be happy to see Rose back on stage after the actress made history by not only becoming the first deaf contestant to appear on Strictly, but also to go all the way to the final and win the show.

Rose has since proudly educated people on the deaf community and sign language and has used her platform to share education online.

The actress also encouraged the tour to become more inclusive and it will now have a registered British Sign Language interpreter for every performance.
