Former One Direction star Niall Horan has been promoting the recording of his upcoming third album for the better part of a year. The Irish crooner saw some good success with his second album, Heartbreak Weather, which reached number one in the UK and Ireland – however, he no doubt wants more. The star’s recent Instagram post revealed how he is changing things up for his third album.
The singer recently posted a collection of photos from in between recording songs at Real World Studios.
Previously, Niall’s albums Flicker and Heartbreak Weather were recorded all over the world.
Flicker had pieces recorded in Nashville, Richmond and Los Angeles, while his second record was brought together in London, The Bahamas and Van Nuys.
This recording studio is located in Bath, UK, and is the same place Harry Styles recorded his sophomore album Fine Line.
The 2019 album was an enormous hit for Harry, who released a number of hits from it including Watermelon Sugar and Golden.
The record earned a collection of awards, including Album of the Year at the Brit Awards and Best Pop Vocal Album at the Grammy Awards.
Harry’s second album also achieved a position in Rolling Stone’s Greatest Albums of All Time list at number 491.
Niall has been teasing the release of his next album for a few months with some selfies and looks into his recording process.

Niall’s fans will no doubt be thrilled by this news, as they have been questioning the star about his next record since the beginning of the year.
Responding to some of his dedicated fanbase on Twitter, Niall recently said he was “currently writing” the record.
He followed it up by adding: “Just figuring it all out currently,” before adding it would “be a while”.
Niall seems to be taking writing and recording his third album slowly, which is the opposite of how One Direction worked.

Speaking in an interview at the beginning of the year, Niall told Dermot O’Leary that he felt like a “prisoner” in the band “a couple of times”.
He continued: “We were 17, 18, 19 for the first few years, and I struggled with it.
“As you know, I have to be doing something all the time and the thought of just closing the curtain in my hotel room was just madness to me.
“I really struggled with the idea. ‘Why won’t you just let us out? We just want to go for a walk!’ But you can’t get inside the brain of a fan.”
Despite these feelings, the odds on the band reuniting by the end of the year have recently been slashed.
At the moment, Ladbrokes’ odds on One Direction getting back together in 2021 are at 1/3.
The bookies’ Alex Apati said: “Directioners are looking for Little Things to suggest the band may soon be getting back together and it’s great news for fans as the odds suggest a reunion could well be on the cards before the year is out.”
