Love Island’s Lana Jenkins thanks emergency services after star was ‘panicking’

Love Island star Lana Jenkins was rescued by emergency services after getting stuck in a lift and being left “a nervous wreck.”

The 25-year-old shot to fame on this year’s Winter series of the hit ITV2 dating show – alongside her beau Ron Hall.

Since leaving the famous villa, the blonde beauty has been keeping her loyal legion of fans updated on life-post-Love-Island.

And on Monday (May 1) she took to her Instagram Story to share a rather scary moment of her being stuck in a lift for half an hour.

The make-up artist was in the lift with two of her pals when it got stuck – which resulted in them shouting for help.

“Soooo our day…. 30 minutes stuck in a lift that jolted I don’t think we’ve ever panicked so much,” she penned alongside the clip.

In a separate post, she uploaded a snap of Manchester’s fire team coming to the rescue to save them.

She added: “Thanks to @manchesterfire for being so quick and calming us nervous wrecks.”

Lana appeared on Love Island earlier this year and came second place alongside her beau Ron.

Recently, Ron gave an honest view about life after the villa on his YouTube channel.

In a video, which he named Life After The Villa & What Now?!, Ron gave a candid description of what he's been up to while stating the aspects he's struggled with.

The former financial advisor said: "Really what a lot of people want to know, which seems weird because however many seasons there have been of Love Island maybe not enough people have spoken about it honestly, they want to know what is life like leaving the villa.

What is this whole new world? And frankly, I don't know what to call it, I don't really have a lot of care for it.

"I'm still a normal bloke but people just kind of recognise me."

Talking about his everyday life, the golf-lover said he is happy he can indulge in his favourite sport while being able to go to "crazy events" such as a movie premiere.

However, the star admitted that he "should be working and should be doing a job".

He said: "Although a bit of honesty about this new life. I almost feel unemployed. But 24/7 working, your brain doesn't switch off.

"Anyone who has tried to film a TikTok or anything like that, for me, this is my new job or life now, your brain has to constantly think of ideas.
