Coronation Street’s Kym Marsh poses alongside lookalike daughter in rare snap

Former Coronation Street star Kym Marsh, 45, posed alongside her daughter Emilie, 25, in a family selfie.

She shared the post to her 506,000 Instagram followers.

The stunning mother and daughter post consisted of two photos with the caption: "Me and my girl @emilieecunliffe.x @emiliecunliffemusic A rare mum and daughter pamper!"

"Dinner tonight @moddershalloaks more pics to follow of our amazing day at the spa!!!" she continued.

Fans and followers commented on the family picture, calling the mother and daughter duo "stunning", with one follower saying: "Beauties, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree."

Another fan of the Corrie star said: "Two peas in a pod Kym. Beautiful."

Former S Club 7 member Jo O'Meara also commented calling the pair "beautiful".

Kym shares her daughter Emily with Dave Cunliffe, and the pair also have a 27-year-old son called David.

Kym and Dave met before she found fame as a singer and on the cobbled streets of Corrie.

The actress also has another daughter called Polly, who she had with Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas in 2011.

Kym started her career on television back in 2001 when she was 25, where she won a place in the pop band Hear'Say as she appeared on the reality TV show Popstars.

Hear'Say achieved two UK number one singles and even a number one album, but Kym decided the band wasn't for her as she clashed with other bandmates and left just one year later to pursue her own solo career.

She then released her own debut album which included 15 tracks, Standing Tall, in 2003 which reached number nine in the UK charts.

Kym played the iconic Michelle Connor on Coronation street for 13 years until she left in 2019.

After the actress left the soap she pursued a career in hosting.

Since 2020, Kym has been co-hosting BBC's Morning Live alongside Gethin Jones.

However, the star took a six-month break which was announced in July 2021 due to suffering from anxiety attacks.
