Saoirse Ronan jetting in for special Dublin screening of Mary Queen of Scots with audience Q&A

Fans of Saoirse Ronan have the opportunity to quiz the Irish actress on her latest film, Mary Queen of Scots, at a special Dublin screening.

The stunning Stella Theatre in Rathmines will screen the film on Friday January 11, followed by a Q&A with the actress, hosted by Virgin Media Television presenter Karen Koster.

Karen will be inviting questions from the audience for Saoirse, who will talk about her performance and working with Margot Robbie.

Saoirse plays Mary Stuart who was Queen of France at 16 and widowed at 18 but defies the pressure to remarry.  Instead she returns to Scotland to reclaim her rightful throne.

However, Scotland and England fall under the rule of Elizabeth I, played by Margot Robbie, and Mary asserts her claim to the English throne, threatening Elizabeth’s sovereignty.  Betrayal, rebellion, and conspiracies ensue – and change the course of history.

Mary, Queen of Scots opens in Irish cinemas nationwide on January 18th, 2019.  Doors for the January 11 screening at The Stella Theatre open at 5.45pm and tickets priced €25 are on sale now and can be purchased HERE.
