EW’s Tim Stack talked to Sophie Turner about the end of Game of Thrones and her upcoming role in the X-Men movie Dark Phoenix.

“I still don’t accept that it’s done,” Turner said of Game of Thrones during the one-on-one panel in The Studio @ New York Comic Con. “It’s basically been the majority of my life. I’m still very much processing it.”

Sansa “really comes into her own this season” Turner said during the panel. “It’s a whole new series for her. She’s been kind of lost. She doesn’t know who she wants to be or who wants to surround herself with. This season, she is very self-assured.”

Dark Phoenix is scheduled to hit theaters June 7, 2019, and the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones is slated to arrive in 2019.

Waititi teased that his What We Do in the Shadows movie characters could turn up on the TV adaptation, which moves the action from New Zealand to New York.
