Can you believe it’s been 15 years since School of Rock was released (and we all tried to get our supply teachers to ignore the syllabus and do fun stuff in lessons)?
Part of the reason why the film is so good is the wonderful chemistry between Jack Black and all the kids, which includes iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove.
So it’s cute to see that after all this time, Black still has time in his busy music and acting career to hang out with his former castmates.
Kevin Clark, who played drummer Freddy ‘Spazzy McGee’ Jones, is now part of the band Dreadwolf, and recently went to see Black’s band Tenacious D in Chicago.

Posting a backstage photo on Instagram, the band wrote: “Kinda a must here, but it’s not every day you get to see Jack Black wearing your t shirt.”
The cast of School of Rock reunited for the film’s 10th anniversary in 2013, and we think it’s high time they all got back together for the 15th.
Black told Digital Spy that: “I’d love to do a School of Rock sequel. Or a Nacho Libre sequel.
“The thing is, I don’t want to do anything that doesn’t have the original creative team behind it, and it just so happens that I’ve worked with people who are real originals.

“And they don’t want to go back from whence they came, they want to go on to the next thing. I think that’s the true creative spirit – and it’s a not really a sequel one.”
Although a sequel may not happen, the film has spun off into a stage show and a TV series.
