Former “Bachelor” Arie Luyendyk Jr. and fiancée Lauren Burnham are another step closer to saying “I do.”
The reality TV pair has decided on their wedding attire for the big day, with the groom opting for Kenneth Cole and the bride-to-be selecting designer Hayley Paige.
“I have a laid-back personal style and wanted what I wore for the wedding to reflect that,” said Luyendyk, 37. “Kenneth Cole helped me find a look that I was comfortable in.”
For the couple’s January 2019 nuptials at Maui’s Haiku Mill in Hawaii, Luyendyk will wear a three-piece charcoal grey tux, which will include black satin lapels, black diamond lining, carbon cufflinks and marble charcoal buttons, paired with black patent dress shoes and a satin bow tie.
As for Burnham’s hunt for the perfect wedding gown, she said yes to a custom JLM Couture design from Paige, who will also dress her seven bridesmaids.
“Had another memorable week in NYC!” Burnham, 25, posted Tuesday on Instagram. “Saw enough wedding gowns to last me a lifetime.”
Luyendyk first fell for Burnham on Season 22 of “The Bachelor,” which aired earlier this year. The Arizona-based real-estate agent sent Burnham packing, before he popped the question to “winner” Becca Kufrin during the show’s season finale. He famously had a change of heart, ending his engagement to Kufrin, 28, on-air before rekindling his romance with Burnham.
“The best decision was running back to you,” Luyendyk said while proposing to Burnham on the “After the Final Rose” special, which aired in March. “You have showed me a love that is patient, a love that is kind. I should have done this a long time ago.”
After announcing their wedding date on “The View” in May, the pair also confirmed their ceremony would be camera-free.
“It’s a private wedding, so not on TV,” Luyendyk said.
