The Challenge: All Stars<\/em> Cast Will Make You Miss MTV During the ’90s

For 36 seasons, The Challenge has remained one of MTV’s most beloved mainstays. And during that time—23 years to be exact—the show has managed to reinvent itself in increasingly strange and hilarious ways. In the ’90s and early aughts, it was cast members from The Real World and Road Rules competing against one another for a grand prize. That soon turned into women versus men, veterans versus rookies, every man and woman for his or herself, exes versus exes, enemies versus enemies, and so on and so forth.

Sure, The Challenge lost some its appeal in the process—you could argue new cast members simply can’t compare to Challenge OGs like Coral Smith, Mike Mizanin, or CT Tamburello—but that’s all about to change. For an upcoming spin-off, The Challenge is kicking it old-school on Paramount+ with a series dedicated to “all-stars” from Real World and Road Rules seasons’ past. Yes, everything you know and love about The Challenge is back (just on a different platform). This time, challengers will compete for a prize of half a million dollars in Argentina.

Here’s what we know about the The Challenge: All-Stars so far.

Who is on the Challenge: All Stars cast?

You’ll be delighted to know the cast is mostly made up of 22 actual MTV OGs. The cast will include: Ruthie Alcaide (Real World Hawaii), Ace Amerson (Real World Paris), Eric “Big Easy” Banks (Fresh Meat), Trishelle Cannatella (Real World Las Vegas), Jemmye Carroll (Real World New Orleans, 2010), Nehemiah Clark (Real World Austin), Katie Cooley (Road Rules: The Quest), Jisela Delgado (Road Rules: The Quest), Aneesa Ferreira (Real World Chicago), Arissa Hill (Real World Las Vegas), Teck Holmes (Real World Hawaii), KellyAnne Judd (Real World Sydney), Derrick Kosinski (Road Rules X-Treme), Mark Long (the original Road Rules), Jonna Mannion (Real World Cancun), Kendal Sheppard (Road Rules: Campus Crawl), Beth Stolarczyk (Real World Los Angeles), Darrell Taylor (Road Rules: Campus Crawl), Laterrian Wallace (Road Rules: Maximum Velocity), Alton Williams (Real World Las Vegas), Syrus Yarbrough (Real World Boston) and Yes Duffy (Road Rules: Semester at Sea).

Are there any spoilers for The Challenge: All Stars?

Well, we don’t want to spoil all the fun, now do we? But if you’re curious, there are threads circulating online, claiming to know the winner of the series. (Those same threads were fairly accurate about guessing most of the cast list before it was made public; that said, we’d guess MTV/Paramount+ knows that people would speculate and likely made precautions to keep people guessing, so take them with a grain of salt.)

Is there a trailer for The Challenge: All Stars?

You’re in luck: Paramount+ just put out a trailer…and it’s as dramatic as you’d expect, featuring none other than Katie Cooley in full voice. Watch below and make sure to stream the premiere on April 1.
