Talking to ‘Floribama Shore’ star Candace Rice, Faith says that her ‘Vanderpump Rules’ co-stars Stassi and Kristen attempt to get the cops to investigate her for drugging men and stealing watches.
AceShowbiz –Stassi Schroeder landed in hot water over remarks she made about “Vanderpump Rules” cast member Faith Stowers back in 2018. Faith exposed Stassi and Kristen Doute in an Instagram Live chat, claiming that they tried to call police on her.
Talking to “Floribama Shore” star Candace Rice, Faith said that Stassi and Kristen attempted to get the cops to investigate her for drugging men and stealing watches. “There was this article in the Daily Mail where there was an African-American lady,” she shared. “It was a weird photo, so she looked very light-skinned and had these different, weird tattoos. I guess this woman was robbing people.”
Faith added, “And they called the cops and said it was me. This is like, a true story. I heard this from, actually, Stassi during an interview.”
The said interview was the one Stassi did with PEOPLE back in 2018. During the interview, she recalled that she and Kristen called the police after they noticed the resemblance between Faith’s hair and tattoos to the girl’s in the security footage.
“We are like, we just solved a f***ing crime. We start calling the police. The police don’t give a f**k,” Stassi said in the now-deleted episode. Meanwhile, Kristen took to Twitter to provide a “proof,” writing, “hey tweeties, doesn’t this ex #pumprules thief look familiar? someone put her on mtv & gave her a platform for press. I didn’t wanna go there but I’m going there.”
Stassi received a huge backlash following Faith’s claims and the controversy also cost her some sponsor gigs. Buzzy shaving brand Billie revealed to Page Six that the company’s “ending all of our partnerships with anyone who isn’t supporting the fight against racism.”
Another brand that sponsors Stassi, Hip vitamin startup Ritual, also dropped her following the controversy. “We were not aware of her actions and realize that is unacceptable and part of our responsibility. We have ended our partnership with Stassi, and we are committed to doing more thorough diligence on all our brand partners going forward,” a spokesperson said in a statement. “We stand against inequality and racial injustice and under no circumstances will standby and promote partnerships that reflect otherwise.”
Representatives for Stassi and Kristen have yet to comment on the matter.
