Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor and band mate Shawn “Clown” Crahan are requesting the dismissal of a lawsuit filed by their former drummer Chris Fehn.
In March, Fehn filed a lawsuit against his bandmates, accusing them of funneling profits through one company. Now, Taylor and Crahan are demanding that the lawsuit be thrown out of court.
According to the Blast, Taylor and Crahan claim Fehn’s lawsuit was filed in the wrong court. They claim to have no ties to New York, where Fehn filed the case. They claim none of their contracts were executed in the state nor were any of their albums recorded in NY.
Taylor and Crahan say that other than infrequent performances in New York, they simply have no presence in New York.
