BBC Radio 2 presenter Rylan Clark has given fans another update on his Celebrity Gogglebox star mum Linda, after posting a photo of her recovering from a fall in hospital.
In good news and bad news for the star, Rylan quipped that his mum, 71, was on her way back home to the UK with him, but that making the journey had “cost [him] an arm and a leg” to achieve.
The X Factor favourite had to hire a private plane to get Linda home to continue her recovery, as she was transported to the jet on a stretcher.
It comes after Rylan and Linda suffered tragedy during their first holiday together in “a good few years”, when the latter had “quite a bad fall” and ended up being rushed to surgery abroad.
Sharing a photo of a charter plane on a runway to Instagram, Rylan cheekily wrote: “She might have broke an arm and a leg but she’s cost me an arm and a leg!

“LINDAS COMING HOME!!
“Massive thank you to the amazing team and surgeons at @helicopterossanitarios. Thanks for looking after my mum x.”
Rylan also posted another snap of his mum aboard the plane with her arm still bandaged up.
Despite her injuries, Linda seemed to be in good spirits, as she appeared to be laughing about all the attention she was receiving.

Last weekend, Rylan shared Linda’s gratitude for the kind messages she had received after her accident.
Sharing the first photo of his mum in hospital after her accident, Rylan, 34, wrote on Instagram: “Someone is out of the bed and in a chair.
“She can’t believe how many people have sent messages. Thanks everyone.
“Will update you all with more as I can x,” the presenter concluded.
Sharing the news of Linda’s health woes initially via social media, Rylan said: “So unfortunately I took my mum away on her first holiday in a good few years and sadly she’s had quite a bad fall, resulting in her having to have surgery out here.
“She’s not in the best health with her other conditions and this has made it more complicated.
“My priority at the moment is my mum.
“Cheers Scott for covering me at Radio 2 and Thanks to the people out here that have sent their well wishes.
“Praying for a successful surgery and a quick recovery. Will update you on mummy. Linda as and when I can x.”
