Rebekah Vardy is said to be so devastated about the accusations Coleen Rooney has brought against her that she's flying home from her Dubai holiday.
And sources close to the pregnant star say she's also planning to hire a forensic IT expert to prove that she's innocent.
It comes after a spokesperson for Coleen said she had "irrefutable" proof that it's Rebekah who has been leaking stories about Coleen to the press.
The representative said: "It is irrefutable that the leaks came from one account, and one account only."
Wayne Rooney's wife Coleen has accused Rebekah, who is married to Jamie Vardy, of selling stories about her that she got from her private Instagram account.
Rebekah furiously denied the claims and is set to take it even further.
A source told the Daily Mail : "Rebekah has been incredibly stressed and hasn’t stopped sobbing all day, which is very out of character for her.
"The whole situation has left her distraught and she still doesn’t understand why Coleen didn’t reach out to her first to ask her outright about the issue."
The insider said the 37-year-old is flying home from her holiday in Dubai because it's been spoiled by everything that's going on.
They added: "Rebekah wants to prove she had nothing to do with the leaked stories and is working with a lawyer and IT experts who can look at the forensics of her Instagram, which several people have access to."
It all started when Coleen, who has been nicknamed Wagatha Christie, accused Rebekah of leaking stories about her to the press, after some very clever and elaborate detective work.
Coleen, who is married to Wayne, went on an extraordinary rant where she accused Rebekah, wife of Jamie, of passing information from her private Instagram account on to the papers.
Coleen, 33, told her followers she became suspicious when stories were getting published about her that only her select followers could know about.
It was then that she came up with a plan to catch whoever it was by planting false stories about her basement flooding, returning to TV and gender selection to see if they got reported.
Coleen admitted she blocked all of the accounts that followed her – except the one belonging to Rebekah Vardy – and found that the false stories made it to the press.
But Rebekah hit back in her own statement.
She wrote: "As I have just said to you on the phone, I wish you had called me if you thought this.
"I never speak to anyone about you as various journalists who have asked me to over the years can vouch for.
"If you thought this was happening you could have told me & I could have changed my passwords to see if it stopped.
"Over the years various people have had access to my insta & just this week I found I was following people I didn't know and have never followed myself.
