Nicki Minaj has been added to the lineup of performers for the upcoming MTV Europe Music Awards, along with Halsey and Rosalia. The event will take place at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre in Spain on November 4.
Minaj also made headlines earlier this week when her fourth album Queen was certified platinum, two months after its release.
“#Queen becomes my 4th Platinum album in the US this week. Thank you guys for your love & support. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this project in any way. To God be the glory” Minaj wrote on Instagram.
The album, which was released on August 14, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 185,000 equivalent album units in its first week. However, Queen fell from the top ten spots on the chart within its first five weeks. The record currently sits at No. 13 on the chart.
Queen features appearances from Eminem, Lil Wayne, Future, Swae Lee, Foxy Brown, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, and more.
Queen has become Nicki’s fourth platinum album following 2010’s Pink Friday, 2012’s Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, and 2014’s The Pinkprint.
