The soon-to-be mum-of-two worked in the sales department at a company based in central London when she met Jamie, who was her superior.

Reliving how they met in the clip from their podcast, obtained by The Sun Online, Sophie explained: “We met at work and I never expected to meet the man that I would marry at work. But a lot of people do.

“You were training me weren’t you, so that's how we got to speak to each other because he was so much higher up than me … And then we sat down next to each other, didn't we?”

Jamie then replied: “Yeah, you sat down all nervous and smiling and not sure what's going to happen, and I bored you to death.”

The now Mr and Mrs Hinch, who recently shared regret over not taking more photos in her first pregnancy, arranged to meet outside of work for a date.

Jamie went on: “Soph was hinting about staying over and I was being a gentleman as always, and saying that is a long way away.

“So I think, you know, it's not I didn’t want you to stay over don't get me wrong.”

Sophie then said: “It felt like it! I was so embarrassed because I thought, ‘I’ve shaved and everything!’ I’d put on my expensive perfume, not just my every-dayer.

“And I basically got pied. I wasn't expecting anything to happen.”

Despite the awkward moment on their first date, the pair hit it off and moved in together before going on to marry in 2018.

Speaking about their first home, Mrs Hinch recently told her podcast listeners: “It worked out well for us because the flat was in between my hometown and where you lived before.

“So it would take like 40 minutes to get to my parents house. And then it will take 40 minutes to get to where your friends were in your hometown.

“So it worked out well but I'll be honest, we obviously trialled that flat to 'A', make sure we could live together and 'B', give us a chance to sort of save for a deposit for a house.”

They then welcomed their adorable son Ronnie in June 2019.

And, Mrs Hinch is expecting the couple’s second baby boy after announcing her pregnancy on New Year’s Day.
