MIC’s Maeva D’Ascanio played ‘cupid’ to persuade Inga Valentiner to take Sam Prince back

Made in Chelsea's Inga Valentiner and Sam Prince split earlier this year after feeling "suffocated" in their relationship.

But now the couple are back on track, they have revealed that their pal and MIC co-star Maeva D'Ascanio helped them get back into a better place – and even gave advice when communicating with each other.

Sam, 25, explained that it was "unexpected" that Maeva, 30, was the one to help, especially as he and the pregnant star have had "lots of rows" before on our TV screens.

"Maeva has been a massive help with getting our relationship back on track," he says. "It’s crazy as this time last year, Maeva and I were head-to-head."

He added: "We’ve had lots of rows that people have seen but it’s amazing, because in Majorca it let me spend some time with her and realise how lovely she is and how caring she has been to me and to Inga and helping us get back together."

Inga, 29, then said: "She was at the forefront of championing us both when a lot of people couldn’t see where we were coming from," before naming her as their matchmaker.

She shared: "It was actually Maeva who sort of played Cupid and said, 'You know what, if you really love someone, you’re making a mistake by not being with them. You have to let go of the past and give it another try.'

"So I think that advice made me think twice. I followed my heart because she made me realise I could end up regretting it if I didn’t give it one more go."

The couple went on to explain how their friends haven't always been on their side when deciding to give things another go.

"In the past, people have always been like, 'God, you’re back together.' I think when we first broke up, I tried to show that I didn’t care," Sam said. "But, this time, I’ve shown my genuine feelings and been very open with everyone."

Inga revealed: "It’s the first time anyone has truly championed us. In the beginning, we did make a bit of a mess of it and so, of course, no one would support us. But people started to see the softer emotional side to us and realise these are two people that have genuine feelings for each other."

Sam and Inga then moved on to speak of Maeva and James' news, with them preparing to welcome their first child together.

"I was really shocked when I found out but you can see how ready they are and James has really been working on the dad bod," Sam said.

"They are 100% soulmates and couple goals! I’m just waiting for the godfather call."

Inga agreed with her boyfriend, adding: "They are massively couple goals. I think when I watch them together, they’ve got so many different dynamics that you can aspire to have in a relationship.

"I think they are so perfect for each other and I’m happy that Maeva and James have finally got everything they deserved."
