Love Island star Claudia Fogarty suffered a terrifying ordeal over the bank holiday weekend as she had her car broken into by thieves who were attempting to steal her designer goods.
The model and TV star, who is the daughter of motorbike champion Carl Fogarty, was left feeling shaken when she discovered the windows on her sleek black vehicle had been smashed.
The 28 year old had parked on a side road in her home town of Manchester to run an errand, and when she returned, both windows on the passenger side were completely broken.
Shards of glass remained in all the corners of the windows, as the former islander assessed the damage with fans.
"Happy Friday," Claudia posted alongside a snap of her ruined car and a sarcastic thumbs up emoji.
The thieves had spotted the blonde bombshell's Louis Vuitton makeup bag on the backseat of the car, and broke the windows to gain access to the lucrative property.
Inside the pouch, which was already worth around £900, there was said to be hundreds of pounds worth of designer makeup items, according to The Sun.
A source told the publication: "Claudia was really shocked when she came back to her car.
“She's told friends she will be more careful with her expensive things in future, because it’s clear what the thieves were after."
The source went on to say that thankfully, the incident took place when best villa pal Samie Elishi had been staying with her.
OK! has contacted a representative for Claudia for comment.
The 23 year old London star had hopped on the train up to Manchester for a slew of events, nights out and girl time following her split from fellow islander Tom Clare, 23.
Claudia was said to be looking after Samie during the tumultuous time following the split, and the pair shared numerous stories from the former's car while she was driving them around town.
But the weekend trip unfortunately took a turn when Claudia returned to find her car broken into.
“She put on a brave face for the rest of the weekend, and luckily had her best pal Samie with her but it was a real wake-up call," the source added.
Thankfully, the star was joined by her dad Carl and sister to pick up a swanky Porsche car she was gifted to use for the weekend.
The star showed off her red Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Sport Turismo to her followers on Instagram, and was all smiles as she moved on from the traumatic incident.
Despite the trauma of knowing thieves had targeted her car and stolen from her, Claudia was in good spirits as she shared how much she'll miss her loaned Porsche.
The star joked "goodbyes are never easy" as she shared snaps of the gorgeous and smooth vehicle on her Instagram.
