The TV presenter, 45 – who is one half of Ant and Dec – will marry Anne-Marie Corbett today at St Michael church in the sleepy Hampshire village of Heckfield.

The couple, who have both been married before, are said to be keen to avoid all the razzmatazz of a showbiz wedding. But it is still expected to be one of the celebrity weddings of the year, with the biggest names in TV attending, including Holly Willoughby, Phillip Schofield and, of course, Ant’s best friend and best man Declan Donnelly.

After the church service at 1pm, the newlyweds and their guests will spend the weekend celebrating at the countryside estate of Heckfield Place, with tight security and a marquee already in place.

It is described as a “Georgian family home lovingly restored and rewoven into a luxury hotel” on 400 acres of secluded Hampshire landscape.

Standard rooms cost up to £1,000 each, with the honeymoon suite reportedly priced at £5,000 a night.

Yesterday a lorry filled with flowers in shades of purple and pink arrived and florists got to work transforming St Michael’s, including creating an arch at the entrance. The stunning church, which dates back to the 13th century, features gorgeous stained-glass windows and is surrounded by an ancient burial site and a Garden of Remembrance.

Ant and Anne-Marie, 43, who met after his first marriage to Lisa Armstrong collapsed in January 2018 after 11 years, have invited 100 guests. Ant is said to have spent £100,000 so they can all stay at Heckfield Place for free.

It is also understood that he and Anne-Marie will take her two children from her first marriage on their honeymoon.

Ant proposed on Christmas Eve and credits Anne-Marie with helping him through his issues with drink and prescription drug addiction that threatened his career and health.

Speaking about their engagement in February, he said: “It was a lovely way to end the year. I’m a romantic at heart. There were flowers, and afternoon tea in front of the Christmas tree. Lovely. It was lovely.”

The couple have known each other for years, with Anne-Marie, a personal assistant, having worked with Dec’s wife Ali Astall at the same agency.
