Kourtney Kardashian ‘quitting reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians’

Kourtney Kardashian has 'decided to quit Keeping Up With The Kardashians' so that she can focus on her family.

The 40-year-old reality star announced that she would be 'stepping back' from the show, during an appearance on Entertainment Tonight.

Kourtney appeared alongside her sisters Kim and Khloe, as she revealed that fans of KUWTK will be seeing a lot less of her in the future.

She has often spoken about the importance of her family and she has decided that her main focus moving forward would be her three children with Scott Disick – sons Mason, nine, Reign, four, and daughter Penelope, seven.

Kourtney explained to Keltie Knight on ET: "I just decided to spend more time as a mom and put more of my energy there. But I’m not saying goodbye.

“I think you’ll have to see more of it on the new season, season 18.

"It isn’t airing yet, but it’s being filmed. Currently, in this room.”

Kim and Khloé Kardashian have confirmed that they will be continuing on the reality show and said they will miss Kourtney on screen.

They also believe that Kourtney will return to KUWTK in the future.

Khloe, 35, said: "We definitely love Kourtney and we will miss Kourtney and whatever she decides to do, but people come, people go all the time in this family.

"We feel like it’s a revolving door, so Kourtney might leave this week, she’ll be back.”

Khloe ominously added: "They all come back."

The sisters then hinted that Kourtney's absence from the show could be the ideal opportunity to produce another spin-off, along the lines of Kourtney & Khloé Take Miami or Kourtney & Kim Take New York, which they have done in recent years.

Kim, 39, joked: "Just Kim and Khloe take…” Khloé then added: “Take Calabasas! It’s just Kim and I now.”

Kim agreed: “Calabasas, it’ll be amazing! We can live in the condo with all of our kids and see how that goes.”

Kourtney was undeterred and said: “Not for me!”

Over the summer, Kourtney went on numerous exotic trips with her children, taking in Costa Rica and Italy among the places.

She documented her vacations on Instagram and in captions of the photos, she reiterated she was "overwhelmingly grateful" for the time she has spent with her kids as they have "fulfilled her."

Kourtney came in for a bit of flack from trolls who questioned the amount of time she was spending away from home.

She hit back, saying: "Who says I am not a working mom? Because I most definitely am. Working mom’s can be dedicated, of course.

"As women, we should be supporting each other for what allows us to be our best, not being so critical and judgmental of each other. We all do things our own way.”
