Katie Price’s ex husband Kieran Hayler has hit back at her claims that she has had “limited access” to their two children.
Katie, 44, makes the claim in her new documentary Katie Price – Trauma and Me, due out next month on Channel 4, which follows the star in the events after her drink-driving crash last year and her narrowly-missed jail time.
The former glamour model shares son Jett, nine, and daughter Bunny, eight, with ex Kieran, 35, and spoke about her situation concerning their children on the programme.
Katie said: “The hardest thing I’ve had to deal with in the recent months is having limited access to some of my kids.”
The OnlyFans star said this was due to events that occurred over the past few months.
Katie continued: “Recent events have meant I’m seeing my youngest children less and the relationship between me and their father has broken down.
“It’s not good for my mental health and it’s certainly not good for their mental health. They should be having their mum in their life. At the moment I’m stuck in this rut with Jett and Bunny and it is frustrating for me.
“You know, seven months, how has it even got to this? It’s heartbreaking and I just wish it wasn’t like this. All I can do is hope that this won’t be forever.”
A representative for Kieran has denied Katie’s claims, calling them “categorically untrue”.
They told The Sun: “Kieran's focus remains on the children's best interest and in maintaining the children's best interests and safety at all times.
“Miss Price's version of events are never accurately portrayed. It is a shame the producers of the program did not feel it appropriate to balance the claims by interviewing the fathers who have first-hand kept the children in a loving, caring and stable environment.”
Katie and Kieran got married in 2013 and divorced in 2021.
Kieran has since moved on with his girlfriend Michelle Penticost, with whom he shares a one year old son, while Katie is in a relationship with Carl Woods.
Katie continues to discuss her mental health battle in her new documentary, as she said her struggles began before her car-crash, many years prior.
The TV personality revealed: “I hit a severe depression a couple of years ago, depression on top of PTSD. I was suicidal, I didn’t want to be here.”
