Kate Middleton beamed as she joined Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall on Thursday, February 3 for their first official engagement together.
The Duchess of Cambridge, 40, joined her father-in-law and his wife at The Prince's Foundation training site for arts and culture.
The event took place at Trinity Buoy Wharf in London in the morning.
Charles, 73, and Camilla, 74, have regularly taken part in royal engagements with Prince William, 39, and his wife, mum-of-three Kate.
But February marks the first time Kate has attended without her husband, in a move that signals the changing course of the royal family's senior members.
Grinning alongside Charles and Camilla, Kate was full of energy as she donned a grey tweed Catherine Walker dress, which featured a flattering belt round the middle and a feminine black collar.
Wearing her tousled brunette locks pinned back in a half up-half down 'do, the Duchess finished her outfit with a black croc-style clutch bag and a pair of statement royal earrings.
While Camilla looked regal in a peplum dark green coat dress, which she teamed with a delicate white scarf and brooch around her neck.
Prince Charles appeared to be enjoying a cheeky joke with his eldest son's partner, as he wore a dark blue checked suit and tie for the occasion.
The trio were attempting to shelter from the wind as gusts blew across the industrial area of London.
