Kanye West publicist pressured 2020 election worker to confess fraud she never committed: Report
In early January, a publicist who reportedly worked with Kanye West visited the home of a 62-year-old Georgia election worker who was getting death threats after Donald Trump falsely alleged she’d cheated while counting ballots. According to Reuters, the publicist,Trevian Kutti, said a “high-profile individual” sent her to urge the election worker, Ruby Freeman, to “confess” she’d committed the election fraud Trump accused her of. Trevian reportedly warned Ruby if she didn’t confess to the fraud (that election officials have proven she did not commit), “people would come to her home in 48 hours and she’d go to jail.” Citing police recordings — including a recording of the 911 call Ruby placed when Kanye’s alleged publicist arrived — plus police reports, legal filings and an interview with Ruby, Reuters reports Ruby soon had a police officer come to her home so she could speak to Trevian, who told the cop she was a “crisis manager.” The two eventually agreed to continue talking at a local police station, where Trevian reportedly told Ruby: “I cannot say what specifically will take place. I just know that it will disrupt your freedom and the freedom of one or more of your family members … You are a loose end for a party that needs to tidy up.” She also reportedly told the older woman, “If you don’t tell everything, you’re going to jail.” Ruby told Reuters she was alreadyreceiving death threats after the Trump administration repeatedly alleged she and her daughter had cheated while counting votes. Kanye, a friend and longtime supporter of Donald Trump, also ran for president in 2020. At the time, he faced skepticism amid reports his campaign had help from Trump associates. According to an online bio for Trevian, she began working as ‘Ye’s publicist in 2018 and was later elevated to his “Director of Operations.” Neither the rapper nor Trevian have commented on the story.

Kanye West urges Kim Kardashian to ‘run back’ to him in concert
Awkward much? Kanye West took yet another (very public) stab at winning back Kim Kardashian West during his set at the Free Larry Hoover concert in Los Angeles on Dec. 9. Kim — who filed for divorce from ‘Ye in February and is now reportedly dating Pete Davidson — was at the show when Kanye dedicated his song “Runaway” to her. “I need you to run right back to me, baby … more specifically, Kimberly,” Kanye rapped at one point, according to People. As of Dec. 10, Kim had not responded to her ex’s latest plea, though she did thank him for introducing her to “the fashion world” while accepting her Fashion Icon honor at the People’s Choice Awards earlier this week. ‘Ye’s onstage request to Kim is his latest in a string of similar comments he’s made recently. In November, the rapper and designer shared a “Thanksgiving Prayer” on social media that included long musings on how he’s consumed with thinking about “how I get my family back together and how I heal the pain that I’ve caused.” At a holiday charity event that same month, ‘Ye gave a speech in which he said, “The narrative God wants is to see that we can be redeemed in all these relationships.” He then got confessional, telling the audience, “I’ve publicly done things that were not acceptable as a husband, but right now today … I’m here to change the narrative.” In an appearance on the “Drink Champs” that was reportedly recorded in October, Kanye blurted out that Kim is “still my wife,” and said, “we’re not even divorced … that ain’t no joke to me. My kids want their parents to stay together. I want … us to be together.”

Drew Barrymore reveals she’s been sober for more than 2 years
or the past two and a half years, Drew Barrymore has abstained from alcohol, she revealed on “CBS This Morning” on Dec. 9. “It was something I realized just did not serve me and my life,” Drew explained ahead of her “Drew Barrymore Show” interview with Machine Gun Kelly. During her chat with the musician, both Drew, 46, and MGK, 31, spoke openly about their ongoing mental health challenges, with MGK admitting at one point, “… a lot of what I do is for other people, and I haven’t given myself the time to just accept that it’s OK to not be OK.” After telling her guest she was impressed with his candor, Drew opened up about the difficult period after her 2016 divorce from Will Kopelman, when she put herself on a “new” path. “I wasn’t doing very well, and I just wanted to go talk to some people and [learn] how to pull myself out of a hole, and I had these two kids that I had to fight for and I needed help,” Drew recalled. “I started reaching out to different people and eventually, I really made some big, sweeping changes in my life, and I got on a whole new track — not back on track, but a brand new one that I helped build.” While promoting the segment on “CBS This Morning,” Drew noted that she’s “been very private with a lot of my struggles.” Reflecting on the role of social media in how we represent our own stability or lack thereof, Drew mused: “I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a revolt against the perfection right now that we are all forced to see and feel through social media.” She added, “We’re in an impasse and a crux of a moment where talking about how we figure ourselves out, how we fix ourselves takes a journey and solutions.”

Princess Charlene breaks her silence on her children’s birthday
Monaco’s Princess Charlene has largely stayed out of the spotlight since she began treatment for what her husband, Prince Albert, described as, “exhaustion, both emotional and physical,” last month. But on Dec. 10, Charlene broke her silence on social media in honor of her twins’ 7th birthday. Sharing photos on Instagram from Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques’ midnight birthday “countdown party,” a “family tradition,” according to People, Charlene, 43, wrote, “Happy birthday my babies. Thank you God for blessing me with such wonderful children. I’m truly blessed. Love mom.❤️” Photos showed the kiddos in PJs as they celebrated in a room full of balloons with a 7-shaped cake, decorated with the French words for “Happy birthday” and their names. Charlene’s “treatment” has been taking place somewhere outside of Monaco, Albert previously told People. This week, Albert told the outlet the family’s goal is for Charlene to be able to safely visit with the children, in-person. Prior to her current medical sojourn, the princess spent much of the year in her native South Africa, where she reportedly underwent multiple surgeries to correct complications from an undisclosed ear, nose and throat problem.
Cynthia Nixon reveals why she won’t run for office again
“Sex and the City” alum Cynthia Nixon says she’s done running for office after her unsuccessful bid to unseat Andrew Cuomo as New York’s governor in 2018. She also noted his recent ouster amid sexual misconduct allegations came as no surprise. At the Dec. 8 premiere of the “SATC” reboot, “And Just Like That …,” the 55-year-old star was asked if she might run again. “No …,” she told “Extra.” “I ran for office against Andrew Cuomo because I didn’t think he should be our governor, and nobody else would run or could run, because if you were in politics [he was a] notoriously vindictive man. You couldn’t run against him in politics … without having your career ended.” Cynthia elaborated on her thoughts about the now-former governor’s sexual harassment scandal the next evening, telling Page Six, “I thought this is quintessentially who he is and it is finally being revealed for everyone, not just the people who really pay attention.” Cynthia lost to Andrew in the Democratic primary election in September 2018, with the incumbent scoring 66 percent of votes to Cynthia’s 34 percent. “The thing is, I ran four years ago, and 90 percent of my platform has been passed, so that’s even better,” she tld Page Six. “He’s no longer governor, we got the lion’s share of what we needed, and I got to go and do ‘And Just Like That…’ and ‘The Gilded Age.'”
