Just recently Dani opened up on the catalyst of their first brief split during an appearance on the Jonathan Ross Show.
She explained: ‘When we first came out of Love Island, we moved into a flat together and we started filming [our own] show.
‘It was sort of way too much and our flat became a work home. It was really hard because we weren’t having those exciting times where you miss each other.’
‘He’ll drink a can of coke and then leave it in the fridge, then I would get so upset about it and we’d be rowing over a towel, the row would be over a towel because I’d be like, “Where is your respect for me?”
‘It’s always over something silly.’
In an interview with Cosmopolitan Dani waxed lyrical over their separate living arrangements, after they moved in together immediately after winning the ITV2 reality show and getting a flat together.
‘We’re building [the relationship] back up slowly. We’d both moved out of our areas and to Wapping together, where we had none of our home comforts,’ she said.
‘It’s nice to have my own company sometimes. I can watch what I want – when Jack’s there, he puts all these bird programmes on.’
But they weren’t ruling out moving back in together, as she confessed: ‘When we buy a house, then we can decide where to live, but for the time being we’ve got to grow.’
The two were plagued by split rumours due to her comments of living apart, however they put on a united front by jetting off on a romantic trip to Thailand.
Dani previously admitted that she’d acted a ‘bit crazy and irrational’ for announcing an abrupt end to her five-month relationship, following what her dad Danny Dyer considered ‘a little argument’.
Seems it’s for real this time (even though we’re begging for a late April Fool’s entry) with Jack announcing the statement – while Dani has already unfollowed him on social media. Her dad Danny is still part of Jack’s followers, though…phew.
