But Manchester United returned a rejuvenated team with a point to prove after the break and delivered the perfect response.

The international break means Manchester United now have an 11-day break, with those not on duty expected to be back at Carrington on Tuesday.
But according to The Metro, Mourinho has allowed these players an extra day off as a reward for their brilliant performance against Newcastle.
The players who won’t be representing their countries include Anthony Martial, Chris Smalling and Juan Mata.
