‘Harold & Kumar’ director Danny Leiner dead at 57

Danny Leiner, the director of stoner comedies “Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle” and “Dude, Where’s My Car?” died after a long illness, a report said Friday.

Leiner — whose 2000 “Dude” flick with Ashton Kutcher grossed $73.2 million at the box office — died Thursday, according to TheWrap.com.

Leiner, 57, worked on television shows “Felicity,” “Party of Five,” “Gilmore Girls,” “Freaks and Geeks,” “The Office,” and “Arrested Development.”
