Halsey Leaks Original Version Of ‘Manic’ Deep Cut ‘Wipe Your Tears’

Halsey shared the original version of her Manic bonus track “Wipe Your Tears” on Twitter on Sunday (June 14), presumably without permission from her record label.

The singer posted the original version of the song on Twitter, seeking to celebrate Pride Month by sharing some unreleased music with fans. “Prolly gon get in trouble for this but, happy pride,” she tweeted. “Here’s the full OG version of ‘Wipe Your Tears.’ My favorite wlw song of mine that ended up on a special release of Manic. If it gets taken down it ain’t my fault.”

The Manic album was released about six months ago, along with several bonus tracks from various international album releases. The album’s Japanese edition contained the exclusive “Wipe Your Tears” bonus track.

Responding to a fan who said the leaked version sounds “superior” to the one included in the album, Halsey wrote, “There’s actually 3 versions of this song in existence hahaha. You guys have 2 of them now.”

She then wrote, “Omg pls I jussssst leaked the 2nd lemme breathe y’all ravenous. I can’t I’ll get in too much trouble cause it has a feature,” responding to fans who asked her to share the third version.

However, the singer didn’t say who the feature is. The Manic album featured several cameos, including from Alanis Morissette, Dominic Fike and Suga from BTS.
