Gino D’Acampo, 46, made the hard decision in recent months to quit the ITV show, Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip.
This comes as the ITV chef previously spoke to Express.co.uk about the risqué moments behind the scenes on the show that “cannot be shown on television”.
Since 2018, Gino, Gordon Ramsay and Fred Sirieix have embarked on a hilarious journey around the world exploring local culture and cuisine.
ITV viewers have followed the trio to places such as Italy, France, Greece and America.
Prior to the news of Gino’s departure from the show, he spoke about his relationship with his co-stars and what happens on the show that we, the viewers, don’t see.
The TV chef shared what it was like “living on top” of each other, and joked most of what goes on would “not be allowed to be shown on television”.
He said: “Look, we live on top of each other, we sleep and live in the caravan all the time.
“So you can imagine three men, what’s going on in that place?
“Most of the time, it cannot be shown on television because of nudity, language and God knows what else we get up to.
“So as I said you only see 50 per cent of the show, the other 50 are for us, for the three of us to know and for you to never find out!”
Express.co.uk can also confirm that there is an upcoming series with Gino coming, filmed in Spain earlier this year.
Gino made the surprise exit announcement with a short video on Instagram, where he explained the real reason he was leaving the show.
He said: “Last week, I decided not to film any more Gordon, Gino and Fred Road trips.
“The reason is simple, I mean nothing to do with Gordon or Fred, the friendship is very strong, we have known each other for many years.

“It’s just because we can’t get the dates together and sometimes when we do get the dates together sometimes they get changed and it causes a lot of problems for me because I have other stuff that I have to do.”
He continued: “Also because contracts start to become very complicated, it becomes very stressful.
“I personally value the friendship with Gordon and Fred so much that I would rather the friendship than arguments with the contract.”
He also made sure to clarify that he intends to remain friends with the pair and then ended the message by saying all good things must come to an end.
Gino made the decision over a year ago to cut back on certain areas of his eccentric foodie lifestyle as he approaches 50.
Although Gino has opted for a healthier way of living, he made clear that he still eats what he wants in moderation.
He said: “The most important thing is I still eat the things I want to eat in moderation. What helped me a lot is having a better breakfast in the morning.
“You know talking about breakfast, one of the things I’ve been doing now for over a year is having my Berocca Immuno every day with it.”
