The family of Birds of a Feather star Linda Robson has been told to stop slimming after she lost two and a half stone.
The Loose Women panellist has been on a no-sugar, no-alcohol diet, hits the gym and also ditched her car to walk more.
Linda, 60, said: “I am eating healthy and go to the gym a couple of times a week. If I haven’t reached my 10,000 steps I run around the kitchen and up the steps.
“But my husband and my two daughters have said ‘Mum, that is enough now, you need to calm down on the exercise front’.
“I don’t want to lose any more – I want to stay about 10 stone. I feel the fittest and the best shape I have ever been in.”
The slimming began 18 months ago when ITV’s Loose Women asked her to try a sugar-free diet. She said: “I was drinking a bottle of wine every night and I said ‘I will have a go’. It was hard but has got easier.
“I was out with my husband two weeks ago and he said, ‘Do you want a glass of wine?’ And I said, ‘You know what, I don’t’.”

The booze has been replaced with sparkling water with a piece of lemon or lime.
Linda also said staying healthy for her grandchildren spurred her on to lose the pounds. She said: “I was approaching 60 and was told I could get diabetes. I have two grandchildren, one nearly two and one six, and I want to be around for their proms and their engagements and all of that.”
She was also backed by Birds of a Feather co-star Pauline Quirke.
After a Loose Women breast cancer special last week Linda admits she has regular hospital checks. She said: “I am very vigilant since my sister got it.
