Ex On The Beach star Helen Briggs has announced that she has split from her long-time boyfriend Chet Johnson after eight years together, and accused him of cheating on her.
The 27 year old reality TV star shared the shocking statement and all the details on her Instagram page, where she also claimed that the decision to leave her partner Chet, 33, has been a long time coming.
Helen claimed that she has "put up with endless" cheating allegations during the entire course of their relationship, but has always decided to trust and believe Chet – until now.
The blonde beauty claimed she was presented with "evidence" that "proved without a doubt" her former boyfriend had been unfaithful during a trip to Devon.
As a result of this, Helen said she has decided to call it quits on the relationship, which has also seen them co-parent three young children, Ocean, four, Elvis, three, and seven-month old Peach, who was born in January.
OK! has contacted representatives for both Helen and Chet for comment.
In the lengthy essay, Helen told her followers: "I would like to inform everyone that I have made the decision to finally leave Chet.
"I have put up with endless cheating allegations throughout our eight-year relationship and although it hasn't been easy to deal with, I have always chosen to believe him and ignore the rumours because it was the easier thing to do, even though every time my heart broke a little bit more inside.
"However I was finally presented with the evidence to prove that without a doubt, he cheated on me in Devon at the beginning of July," the mum-of-three continued to claim.
"This is something I cannot choose to ignore. This has proved to be the final straw, and I am making this choice because I know it is best for myself, my children and our future."
Helen went on to say that she is looking towards the future, and the way Chet chooses to live his life won't be "at the expense" of her feelings any longer.
As the brave star continued to open up on her difficult heartache, she also said she's going to put all her focus into their three gorgeous children.
"My main focus is and will always be my children and I will be concentrating on starting my journey as a single mum-of-three," the star said. "I would appreciate it if everyone can please respect my privacy at this really hard time, as it's something I'm trying to process myself and will need time to heal from.
"I've got a long way to go before I'll finally find my happiness but I know I'll get there one day," Helen then finished her statement.
Devastated fans were stunned by the explosive statement, with many sharing their sadness at one of their "favourite" couples splitting up.
"Nah this can’t be real surely, Chet and Helen are couple goals !!!" one person lamented.
Another shared their support for the social media star, encouraging: "This has taken guts and you've conducted yourself like a lady. Hold your head up high, show your children how women should be treated and don't settle for anything less than you deserve."
Charlotte Dawson praised: "You are amazing and strong my girl. Sending all my love you’ve got this."
Helen and Chet, who reunited on the fourth series of Ex On The Beach in 2016, embarked on a relationship after previously splitting once before.
At the time the show aired in 2016, Chet called Helen "the one who got away". The tattooed athlete is yet to share his own statement on Helen's claims.
