Emily Ratajkowski's 26 Hottest Beauty Looks Ever

Since breaking onto the pop culture scene in 2013, model Emily Ratajkowski has made a name for herself as a proud feminist, social media superstar, and actor, racking up film credits in films like Gone Girl and I Feel Pretty. Unsurprisingly, she's also emerged as one to watch, with too many head-turning red carpet beauty moments to count, and even racking up a Kérastase contract in the process.
And while a nude lip and sultry neutral eye may be her makeup bread and butter, Emrata has been known to shake things up in the makeup department with a daring beauty moment. Having worked closely with some of the top makeup artists in the game — Hung Vanngo, Patrick Ta, and Charlotte Tilbury to name a few — the 27-year-old model has done everything from make pink eye shadow look devastatingly cool to rock a smoky eye like no other. (Oh, and it'll be a long time before we forget her mermaid-chic teal eye makeup look from the 2016 Emmys.)
Narrowing down her best red carpet beauty looks was no easy feat, but someone's got to do it. Scroll down to revisit 26 of our favorite moments, below.

This is as close to no makeup as she's come — and wouldn't you with a complexion that fresh?

HBO Golden Globe Awards Party, 2014

Shiny, cherry red lips will catch your eye first — a rare choice for the model — but it's the deep side-part and bold brows that give the look a modern balance.

Annual Hollywood Film Awards, 2014

Fire engine lips plus voluptuous waves equals red carpet Jessica Rabbit, at your service.

Women In Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party, 2015

There have been those among us who try the so-called "wet look" to little success. Ratajkowski's version is strict, not sloppy, and stays polished thanks to powdery, porcelain-finish makeup.

Met Gala, 2015

A visible part keeps this updo unfussy; we're wild about the way frosty pink gloss plays with a matte pink gown.

Annual Tony Awards, 2015

Maintaining a stylistic theme, you can see the crisscross neckline of this outfit echoed in a twisty, windy updo.

MTV Video Music Awards, 2015

This is how Emily does bombshell, bedhead hair (Sculpted cheekbones courtesy of genetics).

For 2016's biggest night in television, the model flawlessly pulled off a smoky turquoise eye look created by Hung Vanngo using Lorac's Front of the Line PRO Eye Pencil in Navy and Aqua.

There's just something boundlessly appealing about an updo that's more down than up.

Met Gala, 2016

At the Manus x Machina-themed Met Gala, Ratajkowski paired an über-sleek low chignon with a textbook-worthy cat-eye. To get her look, apply a black gel liner (or matte shadow) and wing out the shape with a liner brush.

Netflix Premiere of Easy, 2016

Copper eye shadow looks positively bomb on brown eyes and Ratajkowski knows it. Here, the model pulls off a halo of bronze shadow, which is also a very cool way to pull off a matchy-matchy moment with gold jewelry.

Harper's Bazaar 150 Most Fashionable Women event, 2017

The deep berry-toned lips give beach-blown waves a nighttime edge here.

Golden Globes, 2017

Vanngo contrasted Ratajkowski's sunny yellow Reem Acra gown with an equally warm beauty look using a pale gold Chanel shadow as a base (Illusion D'Ombre in Convoitise, for those wondering) followed by Les 4 Ombres Eyeshadow Quads in Codes Élégants and Codes Subtils. A dose of Soleil Tan De Chanel and a terracotta lip using Le Crayon Levres in Natural and Rouge Coco Lipstick in Sari Dore (a limited-edition hue) sealed the deal.

Vanity Fair Oscar Party, 2017

In addition to rocking the messy top knot to end all messy top knots, Ratajkowski's smoky teal eye shadow from the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar fête had us instantly reaching for all of the blue-green shadows in our vicinity. For the red carpet glam, Vanngo used a shimmery emerald eyeliner from Marc Jacobs Beauty, plus two (now discontinued) seven-pan eye shadow palettes featuring neutral and jewel-tone shades.

Diamond Ball, 2017

The bob, the chocolate smoky eye, and that skin. To get the sultry neutral look, makeup artist Patrick Ta used Huda Beauty's Desert Dusk Eyeshadow Palette and a peachy-nude lipstick by Desi Perkins and Katy DeGroot's collab with Instagram-favorite brand Dose of Color.

Met Gala, 2017

It's hard for this beauty to do basic, and almost impossible for her to channel simple. This tawny bronze glow with teal winged liner is as close as she'll go.

Cannes Film Festival, 2017

Baby bangs and beige brown lips channeled '90s glamour. (And yes, that's a slip dress.)

Vogue Paris Fashion Week party, 2017

Who said neutral eye shadow had to be subtle? Case in point: Vanngo's copper cat-eye, which feels thoroughly modern, cool, and best of all, easy to achieve: Simply take your favorite bronze eye shadow and apply it along the upper and lower lash lines, extending it to the brow bone and winging out the shape with a small brush.

Spring Paris Fashion Week, 2018

When it comes to makeup matches in heaven, there's nothing we love more than a flawless orange-red lip and long, inky lashes. To get the perfect tomato hue, Vanngo used Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc Lip Crème in Core Cora and defined lashes with some Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara.

Spring Paris Fashion Week, 2018

Here, the model opted for an orangey-red lipstick, which is a great option for olive skin tones. (Click here to find your game-changing red hue. You can thank us later.)

The Daily Front Row's 4th Annual Fashion Awards, 2018

At the Los Angeles event (where Ratajkowski was accepting the Model of the Year award), Vanngo used Marc Jacobs Beauty's O!Mega Bronzer in Tantric on cheeks and Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette in Glambition on lids. And that tangerine lip? New Nudes Sheer Gel Lipstick in In The Mood.

Met Gala, 2018

The model pulled out all the stops for the "Heavenly Bodies" Met Gala, walking the iconic museum steps with an ever-so-slightly-overlined lip and dramatically contoured cheekbones worthy of a Caravaggio painting. Her braid crown was created by hairstylist Jen Yepez, tangled up in "lots of diamonds."

CFDA Awards, 2018

When it comes to Emily Ratajkowski beauty signatures, a soft neutral eye and nude lip top the list. Here, Vanngo opted for a rosy take on the model's go-to look with rose gold eye shadow and coordinating lip. Hairstylist Jen Yepez used Kèrastase Ciment Thermique Mousse bouffant and Vip Spray to help create her voluminous and smooth waves.

Paper Magazine Cover Shoot, 2018

No blurred lines here. Ratajkowski channeled serious Jackie O vibes for Paper Magazine's Fall Fashion Issue, for which Vanngo crafted a perfectly defined eye by lining the outer V with inky black liner and accentuating the model's pillowy pout with a rosy-nude lipstick.
