This Morning hosts Eamonn Holmes, 60, and Ruth Langsford, 60, prepare to front their final Friday slot after 15 years presenting the ITV show. The emotional message was posted to Instagram with the veteran anchor being inundated with emotional messages of support.
Taking to the picture-sharing site, Eamonn shared a candid black and white snap alongside his co-host, Ruth, from their time at the National Television Awards.
In view of his 702,000 followers, he penned: “We bow out of 15 years of our Friday slot on This Morning today.
“Thanks for the memories. I hope we made some for you too. Until February, May it be a Happy Christmas to you all.”
Eamonn was flooded with messages of support from celebrity pals and fans alike.
