Danielle Armstrong hits out at troll who says she looks ‘fat’ three weeks after giving birth

Danielle Armstrong has hit out at a cruel troll who told her she looked "fat" just weeks after giving birth to her first child.

The 32 year old welcomed her newborn daughter Orla at the end of May and has been documenting her life as a new mum on social media.

But Danielle — who shares her bundle of joy with fiancé Tom Edney — has now reacted to a horrible comment she received from a troll.

The former The Only Way Is Essex star took to Instagram to hit out at nasty comment, which was in response to a stunning photo of herself holding Orla.

Danielle shared a message from an account that read: "Look a bit fat preggers again [sic] ".

She wrote alongside it: "Who would actually set up a fake account and just TROLL [angry face emoji] what is wrong with some people in this world."

The stunning blonde then shared a video of herself hitting out at trolls, telling her 1.3million followers: "It literally makes my blood boil when I see, and to be fair I don't actually get it that much.

"I just want to say, because so many people message me lovely messages and there's so many lovely comments when I do post, but it angers me so much when there's these people out there that make up fake accounts and think, 'do you know what? I'm going to tell that girl who's just had a baby…' you can image, my hormones are probably — well they are — all over the place.

"Yeah, I've not lost all my baby weight, of course I haven't, it was three weeks ago. They just think they can say things like that, 'you still look pregnant'.

"Like, what is wrong with people? It just actually makes me feel so sad for them that that's what they spend their time doing," she ended her rant.

Danielle recently opened up on her "traumatic" birth as she introduced Orla to readers of new magazine.

She said: "[The birth] wasn't great. I was 10 days overdue and they decided to induce me on the Sunday and I went into the hospital at 2pm.

"I didn't realise there are three types of ways you can be induced. The first one was a hormone, which was a bit like a tampon and it's supposed to bring on contractions. And nothing was happening.

"Usually your partner can be with you, but due to the situation with coronavirus everything changed, so I was on a ward with other ladies.

"I didn't have any contractions, so they kept me in overnight. Then they tried a pessary gel and that did bring on stronger contractions, but being on my own it was just horrible."
