Dan Walker, 46, will appear on Loose Women today to discuss his new Channel 5 show about missing people, titled Vanished.

However, while on his way to the studios, the former BBC Breakfast presenter was left needing to change his shirt after Loose Women exposed him for wearing the exact same outfit he had rocked the last time he was on the ITV show.

Loose Women’s official Twitter page shared a close-up of Dan Walker in a denim-style shirt, alerting ITV viewers of his appearance on today’s show.

They captioned the message: “TV host @mrdanwalker joins us live in the studio to tell us about the launch of his new TV show.”

Dan quickly responded, admitting that he was going to wear that very same shirt, before making the awkward realisation.

He wrote in view of his 801,800 followers: “See you later… Thanks for the picture… I was going to wear that shirt again but I’ll grab another one.”

Loose Women cheekily replied with a laughing emoji, adding: “See you soon!”

Dan has been settling back into work again after he was hit by a car while on his bike in Sheffield last month.

The Channel 5 News presenter was left with a swollen and bloodied face as well as a black eye after being knocked off his bike on a roundabout.

The star said he was unconscious “for about 20 minutes” after the accident in Sheffield and had no memory of it.

Dan made a quick recovery after his horror crash and appeared just over two weeks later at the Ultimate News Quiz in aid of Action for Children.

Last month, he announced the terrifying ordeal on Instagram where he shared snaps of his injuries.

At the time, he wrote: “Not quite the week I had planned but I’m on the mend. “I’m very grateful for all your kind messages & for my family & lovely friends.

“I’m also thankful for the paramedics, the police & the people who looked after me in A & E.”

He later addressed an image of his battered face during an appearance on Channel 5’s Jeremy Vine Show.

Dan remarked: “I’m very thankful that I’ve healed. Basically, there’s been a few lumps and bumps and grazes all over the place.

“I’ve got a badly damaged hand. I won’t take my trousers off, Jeremy, but I’ve got a massive bruise on my right hip at the moment.”
