Charley Webb says her son wants a skateboard for Christmas
Charley Webb, 32, has revealed that her son Bowie has his heart set on a skateboard ahead of his fifth birthday next week. However, the Emmerdale actress admitted she wasn’t as keen on the idea and shared her worries about the risks associated with skateboarding.
Charley, who shares three sons with her husband Matthew Wolfenden, explained the situation in an Instagram video yesterday.
She said in view of her 476,000 followers: “Bowie wants a skateboard for his birthday next week.
“That is my idea of hell, the thought of him skateboarding on the streets…
“Anyway, he wants a skateboard. I don’t know what I’m looking at, they all look the same.”

The Debbie Dingle star went on to ask her fans for their advice on which skateboard would be best to buy for a beginner.
She divulged: “I don’t know a good one for a beginner, for a five-year-old.
“Preferably I want one where he’s not going to end up in hospital.
“So any skateboarding experts?”
Charley then continued to share her concerns for Bowie by captioning the clip: “Why would he choose this?
“He loves crafts, I wish he’d asked for something safe like paint.”
It comes after Charley revealed this time of the year is “rubbish” for her four-year-old son, as his birthday falls just before Christmas Day.
The star said she was thinking of celebrating his birthday in the summer instead, as she admitted it is “really annoying” his special day is in December.

Charley is mum to her three sons, Bowie, Buster, 10, and one-year-old Ace.
She began to share on Instagram: “I am really not one for getting into Christmas too early because I feel like when you do it too soon, you’re bored of it when Christmas comes.
“But this year, I’m like, Christmas can go on for the next six months because everything else is rubbish?”
Charley continued: “We’ve got Bowie’s birthday just before Christmas.
“Really annoying. Does anyone else have kids that have got birthdays before Christmas?
“It’s so rubbish.”
She added: “He has to wait all year to get his birthday and Christmas, it really annoys me.
“I feel like I should actually give him a birthday in the summer so that he has a summer birthday and then we do a tiny celebration on his actual birthday and then Christmas.”
