Summer signing Malcom "doesn’t like the situation" at Barcelona after making just two substitute appearances for the club, according to his agent.
The 21-year-old dramatically snubbed Roma to move to the Nou Camp from Bordeaux in the summer , despite the Serie A side expecting the deal to be completed and fans waiting for him to arrive at the airport.
He’s made just two competitive appearances for his club so far totalling just 25 minutes, and his agent says that he isn’t satisfied with that.
“Every player needs a period of adaptation and minutes on the pitch to prove their worth,” Junior Minguella told RAC1.
“He hasn’t had them yet, but he’ll prove his worth when he does play.
"He doesn’t like the situation, but he’s focused and very motivated.”
Fellow summer arrival Arturo Vidal has also voiced his displeasure at a lack of action , but Barca director Pep Segura has said that his recent protests have been dismissed by the club.
"In general, the situation with Vidal is very clear," Segura told Sport . "Firstly, with his protests, it’s a clear demonstration that he wants to play for and serve Barcelona , contributing to winning everything, as he said when he was presented.
"The negative part is he doesn’t have the delicate touch that a professional should have, out of respect for his coach and his team-mates.
"In a club as big as Barca, with the great professionals here, Vidal knows he has done wrong, that he lacked respect for his team-mates and I’m sure he will correct that."
