Ant McPartlin’s ex Lisa Armstrong celebrates with Strictly star pals before show launch

Ant McPartlin's ex wife Lisa Armstrong is certainly excited for the Strictly Come Dancing show launch.

The makeup artist, 45, who was married to Ant, 46, from 2006 to 2018, has been Strictly's head makeup artist for over 12 seasons, and

Celebrating the 30th of fellow make up artist Summer Dyason, Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two presenter Janette Manrara shared several snaps with Strictly friends including one with Lisa.

In the photo, Lisa can be seen smiling with Strictly hairstylist Lisa Davey and Dancing On Ice's Hair and Makeup Designer Marcos.

She looked happy as she wore her blonde hair up with perfectly done makeup.

Other Strictly pals who were seen in photos were pro dancer Neil Jones, Katya Jones, Nikita Kuzmin and Jowita Przystał.

Taking to the comment section, one fan said: "Looks like you all had an amazing night!! Happy birthday Summer!"

A second wrote: "Definitely you and @aljazskorjanec on The Masked Dancer."

"Fabulous night!! You looked amazing, my lovely girl," another said.

And a fourth added: "Happy birthday Summer, looks like you all had a lovely time."


The brand new series of Strictly Come Dancing is set to air Saturday 17 September.

Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly will both be returning as hosts, as well as judges Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel Hoorwood, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke.

In a statement, BBC said: “Dust off your dancing shoes, Strictly Come Dancing is back!.

“The stunning 20th series returns, bringing glamour and show-stopping dancing back to Saturday nights on BBC One – and we’re extremely excited to be able to welcome an audience back to the studio for this year’s shows.

“Hosted by the very talented and glamorous Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, the show will once again come live from Elstree Film and Television Studios.

“Registration is now open to be part of the exciting Launch Show, which is recording in advance of this year’s live shows on Wednesday, September 7.”

Shirley told the Mirror: “Being a judge on Strictly is such a joy and honour for me and I can’t wait to be back at the studio waving my paddle.

“Every year the wonderful production team surpass themselves.”

Anton also said: “This is brilliant news. I’m utterly delighted to be continuing as a regular judge.”
