Adele has been busy with her Las Vegas residency this year, with thousands flocking to see the singer for part of her Weekends with Adele residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
While attending a concert this week, fans Chris Dare and his wife Shantelle Lord help up a sign to the Hello singer reading: “Adele will you do our gender reveal?”
The couple were later called to the front of the stage where Adele announced the sex of their baby in front of the crowd.
In a clip shared by Chris on TikTok, Adele quipped: “No one’s really allowed signs in here. I’m just obsessed that you got one in.”
Before the big reveal, Shantelle told Adele that while she is currently 18 weeks pregnant she has kept her baby’s sex in the sealed envelope since week 12.

Adele sat at the edge of the stage as she carefully opened the envelope, breaking into the crowd: “Shantelle and Chris are having a baby — boy!”
After the announcement, Adele hugged the happy couple and offered her good wishes before she became overcome with emotion.
She said: “That was amazing. I’m so happy for you! I’m so happy for you! That’s so emotional, oh my God.
“If and when I get pregnant will you do my gender reveal?”

Adele continued to tear up as she apologised to the crowd for her tearful response.
Chris shared the night on Instagram with a video of the big reveal, leaving a message for the Rolling in the Deep hitmaker.
He wrote: “@adele you are amazing and we will remember this night for the rest of our lives! See full video on my TikTok!”
The Easy on Me hitmaker is a mom to 10-year-old son Angelo, whom she shares with her ex-husband, charity founder Simon Konecki.
The two divorced in 2021 after splitting in 2019 and Adele is currently in a relationship with sports agent Rich Paul.
Speaking to Elle in 2022, Adele shared her desire to have more children in the future, but at the moment she is focusing on her career.
She said: “I definitely want more kids. I’m a homemaker and I’m a matriarch, and a stable life helps me with my music.
“But right now, all I got in my brain is Vegas. I want to f**king nail it.”
Weekends with Adele will be running at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace through November.
