Love Island fans convinced Anton coupled up with Lucie so she could stay in the villa and STEAL Tommy from Molly Mae

LOVE Island fans think Anton Danyluk coupled up with Lucie Donlan to help her steal Tommy Fury from Molly-Mae Hague.

The Scottish hunk decided to couple up with the surfer instead of Yewande Biala on Monday night's episode, but viewers think he had a motive.

During the Online Buzz challenge on last night's episode, one tweet from the public claimed Lucie and Tommy are the "perfect match".

The comment planted doubt in Molly-Mae's mind, and saw her ask Tommy to cool his friendship with Lucie, who he was coupled up with earlier in the show.

Maura confronted Lucie – who was coupled up with Joe Garratt before he was booted out – about the comment and asked her if she has any feelings for the boxer, to which she replied "never say never".

Viewers believe Anton helped to orchestrate a potential love triangle – so that he'd be free to swoop in for Molly-Mae.

One watcher tweeted: "Anton and Lucie need to stay so Lucie can steal Tommy."

A second shared: "Feel like Anton is trying to split Molly Mae and Tommy up, so that Lucie can steal Tommy away."

A third commented: "Lucie planning how she’s gonna steal Tommy away from Molly Mae."

Another added: "Lucie is about to steal Tommy from Molly Mae and is claiming they are just friends!! Go home to your MAN!!"

A separate watcher vented: "I’m sorry; I’ve said it from the start lucie is a snake. She would steal Tommy off Molly first chance she would get! #LoveIsland."

While another wrote: "Lucie is deffo wanting to steal Tommy @LoveIsland."

One more added: "A conspiracy theory : anton chose to couple up with lucy to keep her in the villa so then lucy will go after tommy which will leave molly mae single for anton #loveisland."

"Lucie saying never say never about getting with Tommy… this girl is so sly and we have all been sleeping on her. Now I understand why she has no female friends, she would steal their men", wrote another.

The personal trainer has been branded a "stirrer" among viewers, after he shared his views on Tommy and Molly-Mae's relationship and told fellow Islanders he didn't think their romance would last outside the villa.

Another tweeted: "I feel like the producers planted Anton and Lucie to f**k s**t up."
