Lucy Verasamy: ITV weather star sparks ‘COUPLE’ rumours she’s snapped with meteorologist

Good Morning Britain and ITV Racing favourite Lucy Verasamy, 38, posed for a sweet selfie with her fellow weather presenter Thomas Schafernaker, 40. The picture showed the pair smiling for the camera as BBC star Thomasz leaned in close to the brunette beauty. She could be seen looking summery in a floral dress, wearing white sunglasses on top of her head. Thomasz, meanwhile, co-ordinated with her outfit by complementing her with a flowery tie.

Uploading the selfie in view of her 102,000 Instagram followers, Lucy joked about her relationship with the rival weather star.

“We’re all on the same team really @schafernaker,” she quipped.

She also added a reference to an iconic line from The Devil Wears Prada, saying: “Florals for spring? Groundbreaking.”

Fans flooded to the comments section to share their theory that the duo might be romantically involved.

“Such a nice couple!” one gushed, while another agreed: “What a beautiful couple you make.”

“Lucy Schafernaker has a nice ring to it,” a third noted, while a fourth cheekily asked: “Do I have competition?”

One Instagram user, clearly from Lucy army of admirers, chipped in: “He’s not in the same league as you Lucy.”

Another appeared to have a similarly jealous response to the cosy photo, writing: “A deep depression is suddenly moving away to the east with strong highs expected imminently and with the isobars this close a storm of male jealously is expected within the hour…”

Express.co.uk has contacted representatives for Lucy and Thomasz asking for comment about the nature of their relationship.

Lucy keeps her private life out of the public eye and is not currently known to be dating anyone.

Thomasz’s relationship status has also not been reported.

Lucy has a huge following on social media who regularly compliment her when she posts and also tune in to watch her deliver the forecast for ITV.

Earlier this week, she put on a stylish display in a pale blue wrap dress as she predicted pleasantly dry warm weather.

Telling viewers temperatures were set to rise, she showcased her svelte frame in the V-neck number, which nipped in to highlight her slim waist.

She wore her dark tresses in her signature shoulder-length bob and added natural-looking makeup to complete the ensemble.

Best known for her appearances on Good Morning Britain and ITV Racing, Lucy began her career at the Press Association before a stint doing the weather for Sky.
